Castor & Ladder conveyor division has a branch network that is conveniently situated in all the major centers. Roller Conveyors 
Practically every manufacturing industry can use the versatile Calmaster conveyor. Designed as a modular system for maximising simplicity, flexibility and cost effectiveness, units include standard 3-meter straight sections, as well as in-between length turntables, gates, 45° and 90° bends and transfer trolleys. Various diameters, widths, pitches and capacities are available, and it is for this reason that we request that clients use our expertise (under no obligation), when considering installing a conveyor system. Belt conveyor: Horizontal and inclined flat slider bed belt conveyors. Click on each image to enlarge.
Live roller conveyor: (Accu-roll) Conveyor system for handling unit loads, and allowing product accumulation. (Driven by polyurethane drive bands from a line shaft.)
Chain-driven roller: Either Tangential (friction driven) or roller to roller (utilizing simplex chain and sprockets from roller to roller.)

Quality and safety

  • Code of practice: SABS 0303 1998

  • Upper platform: Fitted with safety bar, preventing descent on contact with obstructions.

  • Equipped with overload relief valve.

  • Low tension (24V) control system.

  • Single-acting cylinder with drainage system and rupture valve to stop the lift table lowering in case of hoses breaking.

  • Self-lubricating bushes on pivot joints.
